Testimonials:

  • Band Director, Darryl Andrews, was the first in the country to take the field with a Trash Kat™ Drum Line at the Ben Lippen School.  Ben Lippen is a  prepatory and boarding school affiliated with Columbia University in South Carolina.  The talented high school drummers get fans on their feet with precision, innovation and thunderous Trash Kats rhythm.  They look cool too!!!!
  • The Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho features the Trash Kat in many performances under the guidance of Professor Dan BukvichAbout working with the Trash Kat, Professor Bukvich said, "It is so much fun.  I love it for its VERSATILITY...It takes on different sound characteristics depending whether it is played by hand, with sticks or when  mallets are used. We use it in our Wind Ensemble.  Marching Band has used it - suspended by a strap.  Our Concert Band has used the Trash Kat.  It worked great in the Orchestra pit, as a substitute timpani, played with timpani mallets.  The Trash Kat's harmonics blend in well and we have only begun to experiment with it."

  • Drum Circle Facilitator, Mark Henderson of Caulfield, Missouri... "Hey Kevin...I just want to thank you...and to let you know that I am HOOKED on your drum!  I drove 8 hours to get home from Nashville, then played your drum until sunup...slept about 4 hours and started playing again...probably 6 hours or so...I can't stop!!!"
  • Jon Erdahl from New Hampshire wrote us to say..."I have had over a week now with the new Trash Kat and find it a superb enhancement to my set up... The sound.....really has power that adds another dimension to my playing.  Another superb tool in my arsenal of drum attacks. I am not a big gimmick guy.  But frankly, I was looking for something that would give me depth and power for those big dramatic moments (without using a big gong drum type of effect)...Keith Moon anyone?  The Trash Kat delivers that in spades..."
